Poetry

My poetry comes in various forms, usually around a theme of love. My older ones are usually rhyming with definite verses and my newer ones tend to be free verse with little rhyming.  I don’t consider a poem to be finished until it has what we call  “The Poetry Tingle”. Usually the last line of the poem is a dramatic twist or finish that leaves the reader feeling poetically satisfied.  On that note, my poems are mostly about someone or something that is or has been in my life. And I believe most poems from all writers are.  My poems are for me and continually satisfy my poetic crave. If other people can enjoy them then I am happy, but if not, it doesn’t really matter.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that remembers “The Poetry Tingle” from Keith. :) You have a lot of nice pieces here, and the site’s so pretty! lol

Thank you so much! I think The Poetry Tingle is probably the best thing I ever learned in school. And it wasn’t even from a real teacher! haha
